Out of all Masanid, Musnad-E-Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal is the supreme and predominate. According to groups of Muhadithin either in erlier or later era, Musnad-E-Imam Ahmad bim Hanbal is the chief and comprehensive catalague preserving the Sunnah. Qisas-ul-Hadith (Story based Ahadith) have also been described in Musnad-E-Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal. Prophets, saints, scholars and other people have shown clear tendency towards stories and tales, and they continued preaching and advising the public through stories and tales along with lateral arguments. Even Quran and Hadith like the story based mode. Musnad-E-Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal contains numerous historical, social and preachable aspects of various historical factions providing the moral lessons for different fields; though it also includes some feeble (ضعیف) and fake (موضوع) narrations. With respect to various scholars, Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal quoted the narrations only from those narrators whose truthfulness, integrity and honesty was proved without any sneer; that’s why the Musnad contains only those narrations which were accurate according to Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal. Therefore, an ordinary pupil in the field of Hadith perceives all the Qisas-ul-Hadith in Musnad-E-Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal as accurate or true, and they are being spread in whole society as they are. Today, there is need to unveil the etiology of these Qisas-ul -Hadith; following this purpose, the article with title “Analytical review of selected Qisas-ul-Hadtih narrated in Musnad-E-Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal” was chosen.
