Abstract

سیرت نگاری کے ماخذ کا تحقیقی جائزہ  

Scerat is an Arabic work and its meaning is ‘method, way of life and methodology.’ In Islamic terminology this word is specified for the relationships of Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) with non-Muslims and also the incidents of his life from birth to death, including political, social and economic matters. That is why, many books were written about seerah and will be written till the Day of Judgment. Scholars have considered Holy Quran, Sunnah, Tafseer, History ets as the basic sources of seerah.In this research article, an analytical study of the sources of seerah has been done so that the importance of sources may be explored. This will help to incline people towards seerah with the the effect that is the only way to change lives.
