Abstract

Iqbal’s unique thought process takes a new leap in his lectures which are compiled in “The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam”. Among these “The Spirit of Muslim Culture” has gained immense significance of eminent researchers and scholars. In this lecture basic concepts of Islamic Culture and their importance have been highlighted on which the supreme edifice of Muslim Umma has been raised. In any society, the value, movement and evolution of culture matter immensely. Contrary to Greek thought, we may find experimental and practical aspects of Islamic Culture. Over the years, this specific lecture has met numerous criticisms and explanations which unfold the distinctive aspects of the Islamic culture. This article dooms to bring forth critical and analytical study of “The Spirit of Muslim Culture”.
