Abstract

The increasing contribution of Muslim women in workforce resulted in significant challenges for the balancing of different obligations of family and work. Specifically, this situation is highly challenging and sophisticated for the different patriarchal and religious societies for instance Pakistan owing to stereotypical roles of women, cultural norms as well as religious prescriptions. This research is a step to highlight the challenges of work life balance and work life conflict among Muslim women in the cooperate sector of Pakistan in unique Pakistani cultural and socio-economic atmosphere.
