Abstract

By nature pre Islamic Arabs used to preserve the record of their lineage in memories,
poetry and prose.actually it was a divine arrangement to preserve the prestigious pedigree of Rasulallah till doams days.In ancient Arabic society,poet played a vital role in recording the family tree of Holy Prophets dues to their moral qualities, spiritual power,excellence and nobility of their characters.Authors of Seerat -ul- Nabawi termed these patterns of poetry as an authentic and reliable source that shed light on the characteristics of th decedents of Holy Prophet P.B.U.H. this articles is a brief selection and analysis of these verses.
